For its third outing participating in Art Basel | Miami Beach, Menconi + Schoelkopf presents a highly-curated group exhibition of paintings by American modernists. These dozen masterworks will illustrate a narrative that joins the explosion of early modernism in the United States, beginning with the 1913 Armory Show, through its even more incendiary development in the Post-war years as Abstract Expressionism. Works by John Marin, Oscar Bluemner, Ralston Crawford, and Charles Biederman will sketch the way forward for vanguard modernism in the twentieth century.
